GIANNIS PAPAFILIPPOPOULOS
He was born in 1968 in Athens.
He studied electrical engineering. For 15 years he experimented on his own constructions while maintaining his own professional space. Since then, began the idea of Plan boat / Plan B., playing with the phrase “second chance”.
In recent years he has been working on ships and robots from solid wood, pallet wood, mechanical components, old metal containers…
He decorates them by reusing materials withdrawn from their original use and unrelated to each other – nails, coils, batteries, cables, capacitors, bearings… – giving them a second chance of life, a brand new Plan B.
