STUDIO MARGONI
The story of Studio Margonis begins in 1989, when Mairi Margonis and Giannis Mandylakis opened their joint workshop in Thessaloniki.
Mairi, with studies at the MOKUME School of Art in Thessaloniki and a postgraduate degree at the Contacto Directo Art School in Lisbon, designs jewelry.
Giannis, who studied at the Department of Physics of the Aristotle University, is mainly engaged in stone cutting and finishing techniques.
Today, the two artists create unique handmade jewelry starring the stone that is often left in its natural form. Precious and semi-precious stones in combination with silver and gold create Margon jewelry with the characteristic style of abstract lines, simplicity and freedom in the form.
