Giorgos Kokovlis
George Kokovlis studied graphic design in Athens and ceramics at Ar.Co of Lisbon. He attended many seminars with international potters, and special baking with raku and special ovens. He has participated in many group exhibitions. His last personal exhibition took place at the Omen Gallery in Chania in November 2013.
He maintains his workshop in Vamvakopolo, Chania, where he also teaches ceramics. The items are baked at 1280°C in a gas oven. The clays used are stoneware and porcelain and the decoration is hand painted.
