D OLIUM
Sofia Bahlava was born in Avlaki, Fthiotida. She studies Geology at AUTH and Interior Architecture at Vakalo School. She completes her studies with a scholarship. She teaches at the Vakalo school. She also collaborates with architects, set designers and designs jewelry. Jewelry Design Award at KOSMIMA ’87. Jewelry Design Award at KOSMIMA ’90.
Vassilis Stamoulis was born in 1962 in Dimena, Argolida. He studyies Electrical Engineering at the TEI of Patras. He studies Graphic Design at Vakalo School with a scholarship. He teaches at the school Vakalo Graphic Design Organization. He works in advertising, magazines and designs jewelry. Jewelry Design Award at KOSMIMA ’87 1990: Jewelry Design Award from the Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation and Jewelry Design Award at KOSMIMA ’90.
D-olium is the creation of their common jewelry workshop. Awarded for best participation in KOSMIMA Thessaloniki. They move the workshop to Lamia where they live and work. They teach jewelry and miniature sculpture in the Art workshops of the Municipality of Lamia.
2005: Join JAW (a group of Greek jewelry designers)
2007: Participation in a thematic exhibition with JAW at the Marneri gallery. Participation in the exhibition HELLENIC DESIGN- Vakalo school at the Benaki Museum. Participation in a thematic exhibition with JAW in Loutra Paradisos in Thessaloniki. Participation in the jewelry exhibition “50 Women 50 Interpretations” within the framework of the 50th film festival in Thessaloniki.
2011: Curated and participated in the exhibition “DRAMA AND THE JEWELER” at the Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation.
2014: Participation in the jewelry exhibition “SYMBOLS” in Gazi.
2016: Participation in the jewelry exhibition “New Lands” at the Lalaouni Museum. Participation in the exhibition “Everything flows?” as part of Athens Jewelry Week.
