ARIADNE CYPRUS
Coming from an artistic environment, from an early age she experiments with techniques and materials, making the core of her work a game between form and matter. Her jewelry collections tell an unexpected story using the silhouette as a narrative. Her work with materials is meticulous and delicate, transforming them into small sculptures or beautiful objects that adorn the body in the most unexpected ways.
She studied Clothing Design and Technology at the TEI of Thessaloniki and attended 2 postgraduate courses in Barcelona: “Fashion accessories (bags, shoes, hats)” at the Superior School of Design and Fashion Felicidad Duce, and “Pattern-cutting for Scenic Arts and Spectacles” at the Higher School of Image and IDEP Design.
She has worked in the fashion industry before focusing her career on jewelry design. She presented her first jewelry collection in 2011 and since then she has participated in various exhibitions in Greece and abroad. She has collaborated with important jewelry presentations and art galleries, in Greece and abroad.
Shortly before the end of 2014, she opened her own space in Athens in the area of the Acropolis. In 2020, she opened a new gallery on the island of Sifnos.
