Nikos Charitakis

  • 1957: Born in Melanes, Crete.
  • 1973-1976: Studies in Technical Schools, Volos.
  • 1980-1982: Works with a well-known sculptor in Zurich, Switzerland.
  • 1983-1985: Works with the well-known blower glass maker Nikos Troullinos, in Athens.
  • From 1986 until today: Returning to Crete, he starts his own workshop-exhibition of blown glass in Agia Galini in Pethymnos.
  • 2000: Two-day seminar on Modern Technology of Blown Glass, University of Thessaly, Volos.
